ATLANTA, May 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- North Highland, a global management consultancy, is excited to host its annual Day of Giving Back ("DOGB") on May 16. Employees, clients, friends and family of North Highland offices from around the world spend the day volunteering with local organizations to better our communities. This year's theme is giving back to the less fortunate. Nearly 1,500 individuals in 22 offices will participate in projects that give back to communities, including all U.S and U.K. offices.
"At North Highland, we strive to serve the communities in which we live and work. Our firm-wide vision is Unleashing Potential Together™ empowering our clients, our colleagues and our communities to reach new heights. This is exactly what we hope to do with this year's DOGB – help others reach their full potential," said Dan Reardon, CEO of North Highland. "We routinely volunteer with various organizations throughout the year, but on May 16, we will dedicate our time and work together to make a lasting impact in our communities and in the lives of others."
With the theme of giving back to those less fortunate, North Highland is focusing its efforts on shelters, food banks and housing organizations. Each office has teamed up with a local organization with these same missions. From preparing food for the homeless, building homes for low-income families, to donating books and creating literacy kits for children, the firm wants to dedicate a day to showing the importance of helping those in need.
Participating offices include: Atlanta; Charlotte, N.C.; Dallas; Houston; Denver; Jacksonville, Fla.; Orlando, Fla.; Tallahassee, Fla.; Tampa, Fla.; Los Angeles; San Francisco; Seattle; Minneapolis, Minn.; Nashville, Tenn.; New York; Philadelphia; Richmond, Va.; St. Louis; Washington, D.C.; London.
