North Carolina Department of Public Instruction Awards English II Scoring Contract to Questar Assessment, Inc.

APPLE VALLEY, Minn., June 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Questar Assessment, Inc., (Questar) a leading educational assessment provider for states, school districts, and higher education institutions, was recently awarded a contract from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction to score the state's READY End-of-Course (EOC) Assessment English II tests.

The English II EOC measures students' proficiency on the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts including Reading for Literature, Reading for Information, Writing, Speaking and Listening, and Language skills. The assessment consists of multiple-choice items, technology-enhanced items, and constructed-response items.
