North Carolina Awards Multi-Functional Copiers Contract To Sharp Electronics Corporation

MAHWAH, N.J., June 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation recently received a contract award from the state of North Carolina for multi-functional copiers. The mandatory statewide term contract (ITS-007228 600B) became effective May 1 for use by executive branch state governmental agencies. It is also available as a convenience contract for the use of non-state agencies, including the North Carolina University System and its member campuses, the Department of Public Instruction, the North Carolina Community College System and local governments.

The statewide contract provides purchase, lease and maintenance for Sharp copiers. Awarded categories include black and white copiers with speeds of 20 pages per minute (PPM), 56 PPM, and 105 PPM, and color models with speeds from 25 to 41 PPM. Available lease terms are for 36, 48, or 60 months.
