North America's Manufacturing Heavyweights Join Forces in April for GDS International's Third Next Generation Manufacturing Summit
DENVER, January 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
On the 23rd to the 25th April 2013, 65 of the region's most influential executives will settle into the Omni Interlocken Resort, near Denver, Colorado, for what promises to be the best-attended and most prominent event in the manufacturing space this year: GDS International's acclaimed Next Generation Manufacturing US summit (NGM US3).
The NG Manufacturing US event will serve as an arena for C-level executives to meet, network, and assess the rapidly evolving topography of the manufacturing industry in a lively, closed door environment. The summit has been specifically structured to cover contemporary, region-specific issues that are presented through a series of interactive workshops, roundtable discussions and moderated, peer led panel discussions that give delegates the opportunity to meet with business analysts and solution providers to determine strategies and solutions for the year ahead and beyond.
Some of the key topics scheduled for discussion at this year's summit include: lean management, supply chain management, workforce management and customer relationship management, to name a few.
In attendance will be: Frank Childress, GM Manufacturing for GE Healthcare; Tom Easterday, EVP, Secretary & General Counsel for Subaru; Chad Peters, VP Global Operations & Strategy for Monsanto; Ramon Rivera, SVP Operations for Bimbo Bakeries; and Troy Ellis, VP Supply Chain for Coca Cola. There will also be a dynamic selection of sponsors at the upcoming event, including: Hellman Logistics, Alix Partners, AT&T, Cisco and Capstone.
Alex Jackson, SVP Operations for Heineken USA, was an attendee at last year's summit. He said: "These last two-and-a-half days at the Next Generation Manufacturing summit were great. Rarely do you get the opportunity to meet such a broad variation of senior leaders that you can talk to."
Daniel Richards, Next Generation Manufacturing US Summit Director for GDS International, the global events company behind the summit, says: "This is going to be the most important manufacturing summit in North America this year. We are bringing together the top executives from vital industries throughout the region that deal in supply chain and manufacturing, and I look forward to tackling some of the key issues these executives are facing."
