SEATTLE, Oct. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc., (NYSE: JWN) announced today plans to open a new Nordstrom Rack on the west side of Cleveland at the Promenade in Crocker Park. The approximately 34,000 square-foot store is scheduled to open fall 2013.
Crocker Park is a lifestyle center located 15 miles west of downtown Cleveland in Westlake, Ohio. The new Nordstrom Rack will be located in the former Borders Books space and will join a great mix of retailers and restaurants including Bed, Bath & Beyond, H&M, Trader Joe's, Victoria's Secret and The Cheesecake Factory. Crocker Park is owned and managed by Stark Enterprises.
Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc., carrying on-trend merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com at 50 to 60 percent off original Nordstrom prices. Nordstrom Rack also offers a wide selection of apparel, accessories and shoes from many of the brands carried in Nordstrom stores. These items are purchased specially for Nordstrom Rack, with most at savings of 30 to 70 percent off.
Nordstrom currently serves the east side of Cleveland with a full-line store at Beachwood Place and a Nordstrom Rack at Legacy Village. The new Crocker Park Rack will be the retailer's first location on Cleveland's west side.
