"We're fortunate to have many loyal customers living in the East Bay Area and hope this new location will help us better serve them," said Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack. "Sunvalley Shopping Center is a terrific location and we are looking forward to getting our doors open next spring." Nordstrom also operates Rack stores in San Leandro and Fremont.
"We believe that Nordstrom Rack will be a wonderful compliment to the dynamic merchant mix that currently exists here," said Michael Fenley, Sunvalley General Manager. "The combination of value and fashion that they offer is clearly something that Sunvalley customers will find very exciting."
