OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., May 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nordic Energy Services, LLC announces the recent hiring of Michael Stein as Vice President of Finance. Mr. Stein brings over 20 years of experience as a corporate controller and finance professional in the energy industry.

Mr. Stein joins Nordic Energy from SoCore Energy LLC, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, where he most recently served as Vice President and Controller and oversaw all accounting responsibilities for the solar energy developer. He is a registered Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

At Nordic Energy, Mr. Stein oversees financial planning and analysis, accounting, corporate finance and provides leadership to the executive team on key financial decisions.
