OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., May 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nordic Energy Services, LLC has recently hired Blake Birch as Director of Regulatory Affairs. Birch is a licensed lawyer in the state of Illinois and has a Juris Doctor with a certificate in Tax Law from Loyola University and Master of Laws Degree (LLM) in taxation from Northwestern University.

Birch comes to Nordic Energy with extensive experience in transactional and tax law along with the formation, sale and purchase of businesses. In his most recent position, at a Jacksonville, Illinois based law firm, Birch was integral in hearings in front of the Illinois Commerce Commission regarding pipelines and transmission lines.

Birch will help Nordic Energy understand the laws of various states, communicate with regulators and commerce commissions, and provide general counsel to Nordic Energy as it continues expansion.
