AMES, Iowa, Sept. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Noodles & Company, the restaurant that serves made-to-order noodles, salads, soups and sandwiches inspired from around the world is opening its first restaurant in Ames on Wednesday, September 21 at 10:30 a.m. The new restaurant will be located at 400 S. Duff Avenue in front of the Target shopping center.

Noodles & Company is a fast-casual lunch or dinner destination that offers something for everyone from kids to Iowa State students to adults. The global menu features three cuisines rolled into one: Asian, Mediterranean and American, giving guests the option to try new flavors every day. The dishes range from healthful to indulgent and spicy to comforting. Favorites include the sweet and spicy Japanese Pan Noodles, creamy Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, and the fresh and zippy Med Sandwich.

Noodles & Company is expanding in Iowa. There are currently two Noodles & Company locations in Iowa: Davenport and Coralville with plans to open in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids later this year.
