New Manhattan restaurant features flavors from around the world served fresh and fast

MANHATTAN, Kan., Sept. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Noodles & Company, the restaurant that serves made-to-order noodles, salads and sandwiches inspired from around the world is opening its first restaurant in Manhattan, Kan. on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. The new restaurant will be located at 705 N. 3rd Place at Bluemont and Turtle Creek.

Noodles & Company is a fast-casual lunch and dinner destination that offers something for everyone, from kids to adults. The global menu features three cuisines rolled in to one: Asian, Mediterranean and American, giving guests the option to try new flavors every day. The dishes range from healthful to indulgent and spicy to comforting. Favorites include the sweet and spicy Japanese Pan Noodles, creamy Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, and the fresh and zippy Med Sandwich.

"We're really excited to be opening in Manhattan and plan to get very involved in the local community, said Kevin Reddy, CEO and chairman of Noodles & Company. The Manhattan restaurant is especially exciting for Noodles as it will feature a new kitchen design.

"We chose Manhattan for the new kitchen design because it has a broad demographic and is growing, Reddy added. "From college students, to families, to out-of-towners looking for a fast, fresh meal, we think Manhattan is the perfect place to debut what we're calling our 'kitchen theatre.'"

The new kitchen design is very open and allows guests to see and experience their meals being made to order. It's very interactive as they hear the sounds of the saute, smell the rich ingredients and see the Noodles chefs flipping fresh ingredients.

Manhattan marks the eighth Noodles restaurant in the state with three additional restaurants in Kansas scheduled to open in 2012.
