Nonprofit Colleges Online Publishes Ranking of Best Colleges for Online Associate Degrees
BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Sept. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Nonprofit Colleges Online has published 'The 50 Best Colleges for Online Associate's Degrees' - the first in a new series of rankings highlighting high quality online graduate programs. (http://www.nonprofitcollegesonline.com/best-online-associates-degrees/) This particular ranking focuses on the best places to pursue an associate's degree by utilizing a wide variety of publicly available data including: tuition rates; scores published by U.S. News and World Report; the percentage of full-time students receiving scholarship or grant aid from the school; the number of associate degree programs offered; and student-to-teacher ratios. All of these factors were considered together in a weighted methodology to build this ranking.
Placing first in the ranking is East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi. Allen Community College in Iola, Kansas, placed second, and St. Philip's College in San Antonio Texas placed third.
