WASHINGTON, Feb. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- InterAction, an alliance of nearly 200 international nongovernmental organizations and partners in the United States opened registration for its annual conference, InterAction Forum. This year's event will take place from June 12 to 14 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
InterAction Forum will attract close to 1,000 thought leaders, executives, and humanitarian and development professionals from governments, civil society organizations, global industries, marquee foundations, and the U.N., and will serve as a platform to discuss solutions to today's most pressing issues.
Centered around the theme of "Innovation, Impact, and Inquiry," the conference provides ample opportunities to attend breakout sessions and networking events. In addition to general sessions with high-profile speakers, more than 50 breakout sessions on trending topics and best practices in the field, there will be a community service project, documentary night, and instructional workshop series.
InterAction is also currently accepting award nominations of individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the global fight against poverty and inequality. Award winners will be recognized on June 13 at an awards reception at InterAction Forum.
