NEW YORK, Feb. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ --
- Shift the Script presents the controversial new website More Than Murtadd
- The More Than Murtadd website sheds light on fundamental causes of why Ex-Muslims suffer.
- Crucial steps in helping all Ex-Muslims fight for safety and freedom to choose
On Tuesday, February 12th, 2019, an independent non-partisan movement responsible for Shift the Script launched the new website More Than Murtadd. More Than Murtadd is described as an earnest cultural dialogue involving ex-Muslims. Shift The Script aims to cement an evolutionary conversation between people of faiths and none.
Shift The Script reminds Muslims and Non-Muslims that they also play a primary part in the success of More than Murtadd, and have an active role in sustaining and advancing the effectiveness of this controversial and global conversation. More than Murtadd aims to reveal the key causes of why Ex-Muslims suffer, and gather all people together to engage in open and honest dialogue, based on common ground.
"A majority of Sunni Muslims have been deceived by a minority of Sunni Muslims for more than 1000 years regarding the Sunnah of Sunni Islam and the Qur'an having had no credibility or authority for more than 1000 years, and all this can be proven in an investigation unveiling a unique combination of 3 fundamental facts to the global public through More than Murtadd. Governments will understand the intentions responsible for selective teaching based on the most important oral tradition of Sunni Islam."

More Than Murtadd acts as the twelfth stepping stone in a series of stepping stones, bridges and wordsmiths of connectivity presented on Shift The Script's social media accounts. Each stepping stone poses a thought or a question to gradually open humanity to a place whereby every person can realise and acknowledge themselves as a vital part of effective conversations. Shift The Script believes these stepping stones will create change and heal broken families, by engaging the minds and hearts of all people.
More Than Murtadd proves how the global public is connected to Islam. According to Islamic law, a Murtadd is an apostate from Islam, automatically marked for banishment and the death penalty, if they do not repent.
The Ex-Muslim movement started gaining notoriety with the creation of the Central Council of Ex-Muslims in Germany on January 21, 2007. That was followed by expansion of the Council to branches in Britain and Scandinavia, and by 2013 grassroots followings in America and Canada were established. The Councils continue to be made up of people who have given up Islam. The movement has seen an increase in participation in the last ten years and serves as a shelter for many fugitives from Islam, fleeing their homeland after renouncing Islam.
More Than Murtadd is the next step for the ex-Muslim movement. While fighting for the rights of all ex-Muslims to be safe and outspoken, it asks all people from all walks of life as ex-Muslim, Muslim, and non-Muslim, to see and realise what you need to know but have been denied, inviting everyone to demonstrate how we are all connected.

ABOUT (shiftthescript.org)
Shift The Script is a groundbreaking movement creating evolutionary conversations, and aims to encourage dialogue and reconciliation between estranged Muslim and ex-Muslim family members. Within our own family and friend networks, we see the evidence of a growing number of practicing Muslims wanting to stay in connection with their ex-Muslim friends and family, despite incredible social pressures. Our hope is to demonstrate that the desire for connection is widespread and to help families begin to take the first small steps toward reconnection and mutual understanding. Please help us.
