Nomura Strengthens Cash Equities With Key Trading Hires
NEW YORK, June 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of the continued expansion of its Americas Equities division, Nomura, the global investment bank, has hired three senior traders in US Cash Equities to lead the technology, industrials and consumer sectors. The firm has built its core capabilities across US equities, and has focused on strengthening its cash, sales and research offerings since the October 2010 launch of the business.
Kevin Kilgallen, Jeff Haise and Tom Terzulli will be based in New York and report to Ian Winer, Managing Director and Head of US Cash Trading.

Kevin Kilgallen joins as Managing Director and senior technology trader. Kevin brings nearly 20 years of sell-side trading experience to Nomura, and joins from BTIG where he was the Head of US Equity Trading for the last two years. Prior to that, Kevin was at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch where he most recently held the position of Head of Technology Trading.
Jeff Haise joins as Executive Director and senior industrial trader. Jeff has 18 years of sell-side trading experience, and joins from Deutsche Bank where he was a senior trader in the industrial sector. Jeff spent six years at Bank of America, and eight years at Goldman Sachs.
Tom Terzulli joins as Executive Director and senior consumer trader. Tom brings 19 years of sell-side trading experience, and joins from Deutsche Bank where he was a senior consumer trader. Tom began his trading career at Goldman Sachs, where he spent 13 years in various positions, most recently as a senior consumer retail Nasdaq block trader.
