Nominate Florida's Most Sustainable
TALLAHASSEE, Fla., March 31 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Sustainable Florida - Collins Center is seeking applicants for its annual Sustainable Florida Best Practices Awards. Each year Sustainable Florida recognizes best practices that promote and implement sustainable development principles. Whether you are tackling issues regarding water, energy, waste, construction and development, education or more, tell Sustainable Florida. Whether you are an individual leader, large company or non-profit organization, we have an award waiting for you.
The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, April 7, 2010. The nomination form is to be completed online this year to help reduce the amount of paper consumed in the nomination and judging process.
Nominate yourself, a colleague, a vendor or partner. Awards will be presented in several categories including Leadership, Small Business, Large Business, Non-Profit, Partnership, and Green Building. An independent blue-ribbon panel of experts in sustainable practices will review and score the nominees.
