First-of-their-kind digital weekly publications for iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices adds Brian Wolfe, formerly of Time Inc., and Andy Sareyan, formerly of Meredith Corp., to Advisory Board
NEW YORK, July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Nomad Editions, a first-of-its-kind media company that produces digital weekly publications designed exclusively for mobile and tablet devices such as the iPhone, iPad and other platforms, today announced the appointment of Brian Wolfe, former Executive Vice President of the Consumer Marketing Department at Time Inc., and Andy Sareyan, former Chief Brand Officer and President of Consumer Brands at Meredith's National Media Group, as members of its Advisory Board.
Both Wolfe and Sareyan boast impressive careers in the media industry with knowledge on many different facets of the business. Their 50 plus years of combined experience will help elevate the Nomad Editions business through their extensive expertise in media marketing.
Wolfe is a media veteran who served 25 years at Time Inc. in a variety of positions, but most notably in his role as Executive Vice President of the Consumer Marketing Department. As EVP, Wolfe was in charge of the consumer marketing activities of Time Inc.'s 22 magazines, the retail activities of all Time Inc. magazines, and the performance of Time Inc.'s 2 subscription agents, Synapse and QSP. Prior to being appointed EVP, Wolfe was the consumer marketing director for Fortune, Sports Illustrated, and Time magazine, and was president and CEO of American Family Enterprises, a subscription agent half-owned by Time Inc.
Andy Sareyan, former Chief Brand Officer and President of Consumer Brands at Meredith's National Media Group., also joins Nomad Editions' Advisory Board. During his time at Meredith Corp., Sareyan was responsible for the publishing and editorial leadership across all of the company's major brands. Sareyan quickly became an industry leader, transforming the company's traditional roots to a fully integrated, 360-degree marketing and communications company with a robust expansion into marketing services, digital media, and CRM. Prior to his time at Meredith Corp., Sareyan had an extensive and impressive career in media holding positions as President of Better Homes and Gardens as well as having an integral role in promoting the magazine's first nationally syndicated television network, Better TV. Before joining Meredith, Sareyan spent 18 years at Time Inc.
