Pioneering digital publishing company brings lineup of four digital magazines to iPad
NEW YORK, May 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Nomad Editions today announced that its diverse lineup of digital magazines is now available for iPad using Apple's new subscription service. The Nomad Editions App, which houses all four titles, is available now on the App Store.
Nomad Editions titles available starting today include: Real Eats, a fresh, down-to-earth look at what we eat; Wide Screen, the inside scoop on the movies that matter; BodySmart, focusing on intelligent weight-loss and fitness; and the newly launched u+me, which takes an edgy look at the world through the lens of social media.
Introductory issues of the four titles are free; and a renewable subscription is available for just $0.99 through In-App Purchase. The subscription will automatically renew at the beginning of each month, unless the user chooses to cancel.
"With this new subscription billing option through the App Store, we're making it easier for our readers, as well as new customers, to conveniently access our compelling original content straight from an iPad," says Mark Edmiston, CEO of Nomad Editions. "We also look forward to introducing our current and future titles to a whole new audience, and establishing Nomad Editions as a leading innovator in the digital publishing space."
The Nomad Editions App is available for free from the App Store on iPad or at www.itunes.com/appstore. Renewable monthly subscriptions for each of the four launch titles – Real Eats, Wide Screen, BodySmart and u+me – are available for $0.99 through In-App Purchase.
