Nok Nok Labs and CA Technologies to Demonstrate FIDO Ready™ Integration for Scalable, Streamlined Application Access

PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Nok Nok Labs, an innovator in modern authentication and a founding member of the FIDO Alliance, has announced the integration of its NNL™ S3 Authentication Suite with CA Single Sign-On, the flexible application access management solution from CA Technologies.  

The combined solution, to be demonstrated at CA World '14 in Las Vegas, showcases the Nok Nok FIDO Ready Multifactor Authentication Server (MFAS), supporting CA Single Sign-On, adding additional user verification methods to enhance the security. The solution will allow customers to quickly and securely scale multifactor authentication support for hundreds of web applications, leveraging FIDO Ready devices already in the marketplace.

The integrated solution, built using specifications from the FIDO Alliance, will be demonstrated in the Innovation area of the Securecenter at CA World, showing a user logging into enterprise resources using their Windows device's fingerprint sensor or a PIN protected Trusted Platform Module (TPM). Both Nok Nok Labs and CA Technologies are members of the FIDO Alliance, a global industry consortium delivering open standards for simpler, stronger authentication.

FIDO standards will support a full range of authentication technologies, including biometrics, such as fingerprint and iris scanners, voice and facial recognition, as well as enabling existing solutions and communications standards, such as TPMs, USB Security Tokens, embedded Secure Elements (eSE), Smart Cards, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and Near Field Communication (NFC).  This joint demonstration is an example of the end-to-end solutions that can be delivered for organizations by combining strong authentication built on FIDO standards and federation solutions built on other industry standards.
