NJ/PA Sustainability Symposium to be Held Today at Rutgers University Camden

PHILADELPHIA, March 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Flaster/Greenberg PC today will host the NJ/PA Sustainability Symposium with Brandywine Realty Trust, Rutgers School of Law-Camden, and Maiden Media Group, bringing together an array of businesses, government officials, hospitals, energy companies, environmental organizations, law firms, utility companies, universities and investment companies in the region to discuss sustainability plans and practices.

Today’s symposium is located at Rutgers University Camden Campus, 326 Penn Street, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Walter K. Gordon Theater. Topics to be discussed will include sustainable planning, opportunities for investment, community initiatives, innovative energy-saving technologies, energy and electricity regulation and deregulation, and advancements in waste management and recycling.

Opening the symposium is U.S. Congressman Rob Andrews discussing national and international energy policy and the security threats related to our supply chain.  Lunch speakers include, BPU President Lee Solomon and New Jersey Assemblyman Upendra Chivakula, the driving forces in front of and behind the NJ Energy Master Plan.  The closing speaker is internationally renowned architect and visionary Bjarke Ingels from BIG, a TED lecturer.
