BELLEVUE, Wash., Feb. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Nintex today announced that Alain Gentilhomme has assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Gentilhomme will be responsible for delivering business automation services to Nintex customers and partners. Such services allow organizations to design, implement, and scale business processes, workflows, and mobile applications easily, establishing the conditions for greater innovation, increased productivity gains, and broad-based revenue growth.

Gentilhomme has more than 25 years of technical and engineering expertise and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Genoble National Polytechnic University with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. He joins Nintex from Seattle-based Parallels, where he was senior vice president of engineering and product management and led the company's product strategy and technology directions, overseeing a team of more than 450 technical professionals based in the United States and Europe.
Before that, Gentilhomme was Boston-based Acronis's senior vice president of engineering and developed new storage and file recovery technologies, helping triple the company's revenue in six years. He also spent more than 10 years at Microsoft, based in Europe and the United States, starting as a technical evangelist and working his way into senior leadership roles with the .Net Framework and Visual Studio engineering teams. He was also a group program manager within Microsoft's Management Infrastructure Group. Earlier in his career, Gentilhomme held development roles at GSI and Telemecanique, both located in France.
