SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Nimbus Data Systems, Inc., the leading provider of unified all-flash storage systems for enterprise and cloud infrastructure, today announced substantial expansion of its US and EMEA support operations and executive sales team to meet the rapidly-accelerating demand for its award-winning Gemini all-flash systems and software.

US Sales Expansion
Nimbus Data also announced the appointment of Christian O'Brien to Vice President of Americas Sales. EMEA Sales Expansion
Nimbus Data also announced the appointment of Timothy Polland as Director of EMEA Sales. Previously, Tim represented Texas Memory Systems for 13 years, establishing the memory-based storage systems market, brand and channel partners throughout Europe for TMS up until its acquisition by IBM.
"Demand for Nimbus Data all-flash solutions has accelerated, particularly in the last six months as customers recognize the need for performance and efficiency, as well as the limitations of tiering or hybrid offerings," stated Thomas Isakovich, CEO and Founder of Nimbus Data. "We are delighted to welcome proven leaders to the team, establish a worldwide support and service center infrastructure with 4-hour service, and to expand our existing profitable operations to dynamic Austin, Texas."
