NIJ Surveys School Safety Technologies Nationwide To Prevent And Respond To Violence
WASHINGTON, March 30, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Office of Justice Programs' National Institute of Justice (NIJ) today published an article online discussing the findings of two studies funded through the Comprehensive School Safety Initiative, which seeks to improve the nation's school safety through rigorous research. The studies sought to determine which technologies school districts across the country employ to prevent, respond to and mitigate criminal acts of violence.
