Nidec Motor Corporation Files Patent Infringement Action Against SNTech's Green Motors
ST. LOUIS, Jan. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Nidec Motor Corporation ("NMC") today filed a patent infringement action against SNTech, Inc. accusing SNTech's GreenMotors of infringing three patents owned by NMC. The lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and alleges that SNTech motors, including its drop-in PSC replacement Green Motors, infringe three patents owned by NMC. The patents at issue cover unique devices and methods that enable a variable speed ECM motor to be effectively and efficiently used as a drop-in replacement for a PSC motor in HVAC blower applications.
