Schoenberg Brings Significant Financial Services Industry Experience to MWW
NEW YORK, Oct. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MWW (www.mww.com), one of the top-five global independent public relations firms, today announced that Nicole Schoenberg has joined MWW as senior vice president in the firm's Corporate Reputation practice. Schoenberg, who will be based in the New York office, brings both in-house and agency experience directing integrated communications programs for leading global brands, including top financial institutions. She also brings significant experience in financial communications and investor relations. In her new role at MWW, Schoenberg will lead strategic communications on behalf of various corporate clients and will build upon the firm's capabilities in the financial services vertical.

Prior to joining MWW, Schoenberg served as senior vice president and partner at FleishmanHillard, where was as a member of the firm's corporate financial team, and most recently oversaw communications programming for Citi's North American Consumer Bank. Over the course of her tenure at FleishmanHillard, she worked with a variety of retail and institutional financial services clients such as Aviva, Nationwide Financial, the Principal Financial Group, MF Global and Lind-Waldock. Schoenberg also provided investor relations and financial communications support to a range of public companies, including ADC Telecommunications and CF Industries. She also served as the firm's lead counselor to General Motors in preparation of and during its historic public offering in 2010.
Previously, she held in-house corporate communications and investor relations positions with Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. and SPSS Inc., now a division of IBM. Schoenberg's experience also includes time at Grant/Jacoby, an integrated marketing firm, where she provided media relations support to Microsoft Corporation. She began her career with Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, executing media relations programs for corporate and consumer clients, including Ameritrade (now TD Ameritrade) and Quaker Oatmeal.
Schoenberg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drake University's School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI). She also earned the Claritas® Investment Certificate from the CFA Institute in 2013.
