Nichols Kaster Installs Relativity In-house
Minneapolis-based employee and consumer rights law firm selects Relativity for processing through production and hands-on support
CHICAGO and MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, today announced that Nichols Kaster has licensed Relativity. Nichols Kaster represents plaintiffs throughout the United States in individual and class action employment, consumer, and whistleblower claims.
As a fully featured, web-based e-discovery platform, Relativity allows users to create and automate custom workflows, take advantage of a complete set of text analytics capabilities including computer-assisted review, and make use of fully integrated processing capabilities—so case teams can ingest data and begin review quickly without leaving the system.
"Relativity came highly recommended and consistently reviewed as the best e-discovery product," said Tim Selander, partner at Nichols Kaster. "kCura's support team has been available to teach us how to get the most out of the software and transition our files and workflows—they're extremely responsive."
Nichols Kaster works on a variety of cases from individual wrongful termination matters, to class actions involving wage and hour and consumer claims. They looked for software that would be flexible enough to handle a wide range of cases and allow them to collaborate better with remote team members and partner firms.
"Our experience with Relativity has been better than we could have imagined, and we're looking forward to digging into features like Relativity Analytics and Assisted Review to use the software's full capabilities," said Selander.
"We're excited that Nichols Kaster chose Relativity to tackle their e-discovery challenges," said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. "We look forward to continuing to help them make the most out of their investment, while serving the diverse needs of their customers."
