NHS of Chicago Honors Four Local Leaders at Annual Awards Dinner
CHICAGO, March 31, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago presented awards at its recent annual dinner to four local individuals and organizations whose work has made an impact in communities around the Chicago area. Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives, Walgreens and Theaster Gates were presented with Community Impact Awards and Sunny Fischer was presented with the Gale Cincotta Community Visionary Award.

More than 700 people attended NHS' annual awards dinner, which raised more than $525,000 to support NHS's mission of helping Chicago area residents buy, fix and keep their homes. Featured attendees included Gov. Pat Quinn, Attorney General Lisa Madigan and Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
