NHL Legend Dave Silk and Haverhill Mayor Celebrate Opening of New Treatment Center Providing Recovery for the New England community
Summit Behavioral Health opens substance abuse and mental health treatment center, providing individuals a solid foundation for recovery
PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J., Oct. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Summit Behavioral Health, a leader in drug and alcohol detox and intensive outpatient addiction treatment in the Northeastern U.S., is proud to announce the opening of their brand new, state-of-the-art substance abuse and detoxification treatment center, Serenity at Summit New England. The celebration of the new center located in Haverhill, Massachusetts will begin with an open house on October 23rd, with supporters and guest speakers, Haverhill Mayor James J. Fiorentini and Senator Kathleen O'Connor Ives, who will be discussing the great work behind Summit, as well as beloved NHL Boston Bruin Dave "Silky" Silk who has always been involved in the Boston community and is a huge supporter in addiction recovery.
Summit's move to open an additional location comes on the heels of the recent reports that show as substance abuse increases to epidemic levels in the U.S., additional rehabilitation centers are needed to handle and support the increasing number of patients. The treatment center will offer a 23-bed detoxification and 20-bed residential programs, along with clinical and holistic care in a private and comfortable environment for all patients. Summit also offers ID Genetic Testing that allows for highly individualized treatment and offers both the client and practitioner valuable information that can positively impact their road to recovery.
