Annual Contest Highlights Global Innovation, Shared Values and Partnerships
WASHINGTON, Oct. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- InterAction, the largest alliance of international NGOs and partners in the United States focused on the world's poor and most vulnerable, has opened submissions for its 14th annual Effective Assistance Photography Contest.
Across the globe, groundbreaking acts of innovation, self-reliance, partnerships and shared value happen every day. Such acts are essential to building a more sustainable, just and inclusive world – together. For more than a decade, InterAction's photo contest has honored these acts. This year, the tradition continues.
Photographers – professional and amateur – are encouraged to submit their most powerful photos that illustrate effective and inspiring efforts in international relief and development. Examples of self-reliance, innovative technology, shared values and partnerships are encouraged, though entries are not limited to those categories. All images should be of work done outside of the United States.
CONTEST RULES AND ENTRY GUIDELINES
The contest opens October 19, 2015; entry is open to all, with the exception of current InterAction staff. The deadline to submit is January 15, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
All images should be of work done outside of the United States and photographers should own the rights to any images submitted. By entering a submission, entrants are granting InterAction royalty-free, non-exclusive rights to display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of their entry. When reproduced by InterAction, all photographs will be credited to the photographer when possible.
