SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Halo Neuroscience, which develops neurotechnology to unlock human potential for both performance and medical applications, announced today that players in the NFL are training with its first product, Halo Sport, to improve their performance on the football field. In the wake of this announcement, Halo Neuroscience has officially made Halo Sport available to the general public, which allows anyone to train with neurotechnology that was previously only available to the military, Olympic and professional athletes.
The NFL athletes training with Halo Sport play a variety of positions on different teams. They include: Demario Davis, co-captain and linebacker for the Cleveland Browns; T.J. Carrie, cornerback and punt returner for the Oakland Raiders; Marcus Smith, defensive end for the Philadelphia Eagles; Trevor Bates, outside linebacker for the New England Patriots; and Gabe Ikard, center for the Cleveland Browns. These athletes have all seen measurable improvements in strength, explosiveness, and skill while training with Halo Sport.
"As a result of training with Halo Sport, my standing vertical jump has increased 8 inches. In addition, I've added over 80 pounds to my squat max," said T.J. Carrie, defensive back and punt returner for the Oakland Raiders. "Hard work has always been my greatest asset, and Halo Sport is what I choose to get the most out of my training."
Halo Sport, which primes the brain's motor cortex in order to increase neuromuscular output and improve athletic performance, is now available to the public for the first time. Now, anyone can unlock their potential using the world's first-ever neurostimulator for athletes.
Mike Barwis MS, CSCS, RSCC*E, founder and CEO of the elite sports performance franchise Barwis Methods, uses Halo Sport as a part of his training program for Olympic and professional athletes. "I spend countless hours coaching elite athletes on how to incorporate the body's neural systems into their training programs and let me make it clear: Halo Sport is a must," he said. "At Barwis Methods, we've seen profound results through the use of Halo Sport with our professional and Olympic athletes."
Halo Sport suggested retail is $749, but will be available for a limited time for $699. When pre-sales were opened up earlier in the year, Halo Sport sold out in a matter of weeks. Going forward, Halo Neuroscience will continue developing devices for performance and medical applications with the goal of bringing neurostimulation technology to as many people as possible.
"Ever since the company's founding in 2013, this has been the moment we've been building towards," said Daniel Chao, CEO and co-founder of Halo Neuroscience. "Our goal from the start was to help as many people as possible using neurotechnology. Now anyone can unlock their potential using Halo Sport—and this is still just the beginning."
