Nexxus Lighting Announces Retail Store Prescriptive Utility Rebate Program for Array® LED Bulbs in Collaboration with American Electric Power Service Corporation
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Nexxus Lighting, Inc. (NASDAQ: NEXS) is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with American Electric Power Service Corporation (AEP Ohio) to offer in-store rebates of $10 to $15 on select ENERGY STAR® qualified Array® Light Emitting Diode (LED) bulbs. AEP Ohio, a unit of American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP), will apply the in-store discounts to purchases made by residential consumers at participating retailers throughout its Ohio service area.
The promotion will be in effect from October 26th, 2011 through December 31st, 2011, or until funding is depleted. The incentives are applicable to the Array R30 3000K Flood, R30 3000K Accent, and PAR38 3000K Accent models.
Nexxus Lighting is currently working on similar joint rebate programs with additional U.S. utility companies to make in-store discounts available to consumers who purchase the Array brand of light bulbs. Nexxus is committed to providing the highest quality, most energy efficient LED bulbs in the industry.
