Nexus Services Announces Bail Assistance Hotline for anti-racism protestors who may be arrested at the "Boston Free Speech Rally" and other events across the US this weekend
Nexus Services, Inc. will post bail for individuals arrested in relation to protesting white supremacy, racists, neo-Nazis and neo-Confederates in Boston, MA and across the United States.
VERONA, Va., Aug. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Friends and relatives are encouraged to share the bail assistance number with any one joining the anti-racism demonstrations against neo-Nazis, neo-Confederates and racists that seek to divide America rather than unite our Nation.
"Our commitment is to ensure that good people standing against hate have the right to be heard, not be jailed. Above all these demonstrators should not languish in a jail cell because they cannot afford bail. The bail-assistance toll-free hotline is 1-800-658-6743, and the local Boston number is 857-770-1944 - collect calls will be accepted. Bail will be provided at no cost to the protestor. This is particularly important in light of Massachusetts' broken "cash to the court" bail system, which can lead to long term pretrial incarceration.
Nexus Services, Inc. will not secure bond for anyone wearing masks in public demonstrations that appear to be in violation the "Ku Klux Klan Act" of 1871.
