Nexus Medical Announces New Chief Financial Officer

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas, April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nexus Medical is pleased to welcome Marchell Gebhardt, CPA, to the Nexus Executive Leadership Team as Chief Financial Officer.  Marchell started with Nexus in March of this year and brings over sixteen years of diverse professional experience in accounting.  In addition to overseeing all financial operations within Nexus, she will provide expertise in the areas of capital management, acquisition and expansion analytics, operational analytics, and business forecasting.

Marchell worked ten years with DPT Laboratories, where she held various management positions in accounting.  In 2009, she was promoted to Controller and Director of Finance with exposure to multi-jurisdictional entities. Marchell then joined OCI Energy in 2013 as Corporate Controller providing direct corporate accounting team leadership and indirect team leadership for multiple site controllers.  Marchell is a member of the Texas Society of CPA's and is a graduate of the University of Texas, San Antonio, and of the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) Leadership Development Program.
