Next Trucking Marketplace Ships New Chat Function Feature
The chat function focuses on hands-free communication amongst truck drivers and dispatchers
LYNWOOD, Calif., Aug. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Next Trucking, a transparent online trucking marketplace, has announced the launch of a chat function on their application that allows users to connect in a simplistic and creative form.
The chat function will allow users to communicate with drivers on the road with voice recording messages that play automatically after sending. Similar to a walkie talkie function, drivers can now be a part of the trucking community amongst other drivers while driving to their destination in a safe manner. Users will need to scan their QR code or exchange chat ID numbers to instantly become friends.
Next Trucking allows truckers to sell their services by posting the routes they want to drive at the pay they want to earn. Not only is the application free to download on Google Play and the App Store but on average drivers will increase their revenue by 25%. Users may also share their locations with one another to connect with drivers nearby and show more accurate delivery times.
"Next emphasizes on driver safety and transparency to ensure our drivers are in control at all times," said Next Trucking co-owner Lidia Yan. "By incorporating this chat function into our app, drivers will be able to instantly communicate with our customer service team and drivers across the nation."
The chat function was designed to incorporate the trucking community into the app while on the road to promote more interaction amongst drivers. With a simple download and sign up, users can begin sending messages to additional truckers in the industry.
