NEW YORK and SILICON VALLEY, Calif., May 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Next Issue Media, the company formed by five leading U.S. publishers – Conde Nast, Hearst, Meredith, News Corp., and Time Inc. – has announced an early preview of Next Issue, the best way to experience interactive digital editions of the world's most popular titles, optimized for tablets, with subscription plans and special pricing for existing print subscribers.
Esquire, Fitness, Fortune, Parents, Popular Mechanics, The New Yorker, and TIME are the first titles available through Next Issue, with many more magazines to be rolled out in the coming months. The preview release is available exclusively now to customers on the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab™ from Verizon Wireless and on Samsung's retail Wi-Fi version of this device in a matter of weeks. Access on other upcoming Samsung and Android devices is planned for the summer.
Later this year, the company will launch its fully integrated marketplace of interactive magazine content complete with a unified reader and library, which will enable unique cross-title features around search, discovery and sharing.
