WASHINGTON, Nov. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Dramatic images from the Newseum's newest exhibit "Covering Katrina," and from a new book of presidential photographs, "The President's Photographer: Fifty Years Inside the Oval Office," will be projected on the Newseum's 74-foot high First Amendment tablet beginning at 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 10. The event is part of FOTOWEEK D.C.'s NightGallery exhibition, which uses multi-story buildings throughout D.C. to display some of the world's most compelling photographic collections.

On Saturday, Nov. 13, the Newseum will host Inside Media with John Bredar, author of "The President's Photographer," at 2:30 p.m. in the Newseum's Knight Studio. Bredar, executive producer of National Geographic Television and three-time Emmy Award winner, will discuss the book's intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the world of a presidential photographer at the side of the nation's chief executive. A book signing will follow the program.
