DARMSTADT, Germany, Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced three customers using cloud solutions from SAP to lower IT costs, increase data integrity and grow profits through innovation. According to a recent SAP customer survey, 80 percent of energy and natural resources customers plan to move to a cloud or hybrid IT model over the next three years. To facilitate this transition, the Industry Cloud organization at SAP is working with customers to combine the best solutions with the right cloud model to solve industry-specific challenges. The three customers will also share their experiences at the SAP Mining & Metals Forum, being held October 8-9 in Darmstadt, Germany. Onsite sessions will focus on how to manage and motivate employees, improve margins and supplier relationships, streamline common processes to create new opportunities and gain visibility across remote mining locations.
