WALLDORF, Germany, Aug. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced a new set of enhancement packages for SAP® Business Suite applications. As a follow-up to the general availability of SAP Business Suite powered by the SAP HANA® platform, announced at SAPPHIRE® NOW in 2013, the new enhancement packages consolidate innovations for SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA that have been delivered via 180 shipments on a quarterly schedule over the last two years.

Enhancement package 7 for the SAP® ERP application and enhancement package 3 for the SAP® Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) application, the SAP® Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM) application and the SAP® Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) application are now available to customers. The new set also includes significant innovations for the SAP® Commodity Risk Management application and the SAP® Billing and Revenue Innovation Management solutions. Additionally, the new enhancement packages do the following:

• Solidify a strong business innovation platform with SAP HANA as the default database for all SAP Business Suite customers
• Consolidate approximately 180 line-of-business and industry innovations delivered via different channels over  the last two years in the quarterly shipments
• Position a solid foundation for more business and user experience innovations in the next quarters through SAP Fiori™ apps and further optimizations and innovations based on SAP HANA
