Open to all SAP user group members and SAP customers, the SAP HANA International Focus Group targets executive members from both business and IT departments. Through collaboration with the user group communities, SAP customers will be provided with open methodologies for adoption and integration. The community will have three distinct levels of participation:
- SAP customers and prospects interested in learning more about SAP HANA and increasing their knowledge but have not yet licensed the platform
- SAP customers that have licensed SAP HANA but are relatively new or still in the implementation process
- SAP customers that are "live" on SAP HANA, thus more experienced, and wish to have a platform for information exchange, brainstorming, knowledge sharing and co-innovation with SAP, user groups and other customers
"SUGEN considers SAP HANA a game-changing technology in the industry and specifically for SAP customers," said Tonnie van der Horst, chairman, SUGEN. "The focus group will help customers to learn more about SAP HANA and fine-tune their own road map and adoption strategy. The focus on strategy, direct customer feedback, valuable knowledge transfer, networking and co-innovation with SAP will bring added value to influencing product directions and future decisions and investments."
"SAP HANA has been built by and for our customers with very strong history of collaboration since inception," said Vishal Sikka, member of the Executive Board of SAP AG, Technology and Innovation. "We are excited to continue to shape this rapidly growing platform in new directions and pave the way to innovation for our customers without disrupting their business."
