SAP today announced updates to SAP Lumira® software and the SAP® InfiniteInsight® solution to help further extend capabilities in enterprise business intelligence and agile visualizations as well as advanced predictive analytics.
Updates to the latest version of SAP Lumira include the ability for users to access suggested visualizations automatically generated from their data, create interactive stories from their desktop, server or the cloud and present insights with beautiful and engaging customizable infographics, including support for custom charts and ESRI maps. Companies like Daimler Trucks North America is using SAP Lumira for data discovery and visualization to enhance dealer aftersales. Additionally, SAP Lumira can now be leveraged in combination with the 4.1 version of the SAP® BusinessObjects™ Business Intelligence (BI) suite to bring together enterprise BI and agile visualization capabilities which helps deliver scalability, performance and trusted decisions across an organization.
SAP InfiniteInsight allows users to gain unprecedented customer insight and make forward-looking decisions with ease. In the latest version, companies like Cox communications are using SAP InfiniteInsight to strengthen customer relationships with predictive modeling. Cox implemented SAP InfiniteInsight to improve customer acquisition and retention by providing customized product recommendations. Additional updates to SAP InfiniteInsight include:
- Updated geo-location: In the latest version users can now use geo-referenced data as input in models. The software can combine multiple variables containing latitude and longitude to create variables that can be used in predictive models. Combined with the SAP InfiniteInsight Social application users can make the most of geographic data, extract sequence of places visited and perform location-based segmentation.
- Database extended support: SAP InfiniteInsight now offers extended database support covering Hadoop Hive 11 and 12 as well as Greenplum database.
- Refreshed design: Panels, reports and icons have been redesigned to improve the user experience.
