News Conference: Grassroots Organizations to Urge President Obama Against End-Run Amnesty

WHAT:

Holding a news conference to voice opposition to the Obama administration’s use of narrow discretionary powers to effect de facto amnesty on a broad scale.  The group will release a joint letter to the President urging the administration not to employ such tactics to end-run Congress and the American people.

WHY:

A Homeland Security memo recently leaked exposing the administration’s active pursuit of executive means of accomplishing mass legalization of potentially millions of illegal aliens — end-running Congress’ plenary authority to make U.S. immigration policy.  This confirmed that about which several U.S. Senators recently inquired by letter to the administration.
