EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC) today announced that at 10:15 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 30, Rona Newmark, Vice President of Intelligent Efficiency Strategy at EMC, will testify on behalf of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) at a hearing before the United States House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy and Power, on a panel of invited experts. The hearing will examine the "Energy Efficient Government Technology Act."

If passed, it will provide significant savings for U.S. taxpayers through reduced federal-government energy-use, and through greater productivity-per-watt expended.
