Newest Release of WIN-911 3.16.20 Software Supports Direct-Connect with Wonderware InTouch
AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- WIN-911 continues to innovate its technology for customers needing reliable alarm notification solutions. WIN-911's newest software release—3.16.20—provides a remote alarm notification direct-connect to the Wonderware InTouch alarm database, making it the only alarm notification software of its kind.
"This new direct-connect provides Wonderware InTouch users with the latest advancements in alarm notification technology," says WIN-911 CEO, Greg Jackson. "This effort is important because it allows us to provide new alarm escalation and notification capabilities to Wonderware's InTouch user base."
Subscriptions are now available to filter InTouch alarms based on tag names, groups, and/or priorities. For example, with alarms grouped in InTouch, you can create subscriptions which filter in alarms based on their group association and then assign those alarms to their respective Strategies and Tactics. Now when adding new alarms to InTouch, which match your existing subscription/filter criteria, WIN-911 will automatically receive the alarm, simplifying system setup and ongoing maintenance.
Users can also monitor several local and remote InTouch applications from one WIN-911 system that can be installed a single server. WIN-911 communicates with remote InTouch applications using your existing local area network and we've built in reconnection logic to cover any connection interruptions.
WIN-911 will be conducting a webinar on December 2, 2016 to provide an overview and demonstration of these new capabilities. To register for the webinar, click here.
