They are one of the fastest growing business groups, yet little has been done to support them, and recognize their economic contribution to the nation. The Empresaria awards were created to recognize and celebrate their business accomplishments."
"We are thrilled to support an organization with a focus on women entrepreneurs," said Donna Pedro, Sr. Partner, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer of Ogilvy & Mather." As an employee for a company that believes we are a stronger organization when all of us succeed with women in leadership playing an imperative role, I am excited Ogilvy could take part in the introduction of Empresaria."
Empresaria Magazine will be published quarterly, four times a year with 10,000 copies distributed free of charge to approved beauty salons, Chambers of Commerce, business development organizations, financing institutions, special events and by subscription. The magazine will be published in Spanish with key articles translated into English and will have a social media presence (web page, Twitter and Facebook), in order to promote relevant conversations among readers.
