New York Women In Communications Announces The 2017 WiCi Award Honorees
Next Generation of Female Communications Industry Leaders to be Honored
NEW YORK, Sept. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- New York Women in Communications (NYWICI) today announced the 2017 WiCi Awards honorees, in recognition of the communications industry's top rising stars. Five young leaders will be honored on Tuesday, October 10 during a special ceremony at the Bloomberg offices in New York City, hosted by MediaCom. Dyllan McGee, CEO & Executive Producer at McGee Media & Founder & Executive Producer of MAKERS will emcee.
The WiCi Awards complement the NYWICI's prestigious annual Matrix Awards ceremony, which honors women at the pinnacle of their communications careers. WiCi Award winners are women who represent the next generation of communications leaders; have made significant contributions to her company and industry; are admired by peers and employees; embody the values of New York Women in Communications; and who are actively involved in the communications industry.

Past award recipients include Melody Lee, Director, Brand Marketing at Cadillac; Reshma Saujani, Founder and CEO of Girls Who Code; Mara Schiavocampo, Correspondent for ABC News; and Sara Haines, Co-host of "The View," among others.
