NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Luis Fandos, MD, anesthesiologist, interventional pain specialist and co-founder of New York Pain Consultants, announced that his practice has been selected as an educational partner with Medtronic, a leading developer of life-changing technologies that improve the way chronic diseases are treated. Beginning in late September the New York Pain Consultants will provide training to medical doctors on the safe and effective use of neurostimulation therapies and intrathecal drug delivery therapies. The goal is to help establish best practice strategies for improved patient care and better long and short term outcomes for each patient.
"My colleagues and I, at New York Pain Consultants, are proud to have been chosen to provide training to doctors interested in the newest medical treatments for pain," stated Dr. Fandos. He continued, "We look forward to sharing the experiences we have with neurostimulation to build clinician competence and expertise."
