This is a continuing major problem for companies that have developed a recognizable and respected trade name. There are often companies using those trade names and selling bogus products. The problem is particularly harmful in this age of instant communication. Companies may find their products negatively reviewed by consumers when in fact those were not the companies' products but rather lower-quality items being sold as the higher-quality name product.
New Wave Enviro Products has aggressively pursued actions against companies that use its name to market lower-quality products and will continue to do so in the future.
In the past 3 years, New Wave has initiated and been successful in shutting down more than a dozen companies marketing fake products under the New Wave Enviro name.
