New VP of Strategic Communications, Media Relations Manager and Public Relations Manager at WSPA
SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 29, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The communications department of the Western States Petroleum Association (WSPA) added diverse experience and expertise by the addition of three new team members, WSPA President Catherine Reheis-Boyd announced today.

Kevin Slagle will lead communications efforts for WSPA as Vice President, Strategic Communications, a newly created position. He brings more than two decades of wide-ranging public affairs, public relations, and issues management experience for clients throughout the West. Before joining the team at WSPA, Kevin was a senior vice president at Ogilvy Public Relations in Sacramento for five years.
Kara Siepmann joins the communications team as the Manager, Media Relations. Kara has a wealth of experience with marketing and advertising campaigns, public affairs, and media relations and served as commander of the 69th Public Affairs Detachment in the California Army National Guard.
Julie Berge joins the communications team as the Manager, Public Relations. Julie brings 15 years of experience in all areas of corporate communications, public affairs and media relations. She most recently was a Social Media and Brand Communications Manager at VSP Global.
