New VIASPACE Website Features Giant King® Grass Bioenergy And Animal Feed Applications
WALNUT, Calif., May 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- VIASPACE Inc. (OTC: VSPC) announced a major revision of its corporate website www.VIASPACE.com to provide new information on Giant King® Grass agriculture and applications for bioenergy and animal feed.
VIASPACE CEO Haris Basit stated, "VIASPACE is committed to communication with our customers and investors, and the new website is a key part of our efforts. The new website contains significantly expanded information on Giant King Grass, bioelectricity, biogas biofuels and animal feed. There are new data, information, pictures and videos."
Dr. Carl Kukkonen, VIASPACE Chief Technology Officer, said, "We receive a regular stream of inquiries about Giant King Grass, and we decided to put the information most requested on the website in order to educate potential customers, and enable them to refine their follow-up questions. We have included Giant King Grass as an excellent animal feed for the first time on the website."
Kukkonen continued, "VIASPACE not only supplies Giant King Grass as the crucial feedstock, we provide other services for customers such as business plans, financial models, prefeasibility and feasibility studies and engineering of biogas facilities and power plants. Our partners can build commission and operate power plants for customers. With these capabilities, VIASPACE can offer a complete solution of a Giant King Grass plantation and a power plant or biogas facility. I would welcome comments on the new website, and any follow-up questions."
The VIASPACE website covers the advantages of Giant King Grass for renewable energy, and compares Giant King Grass to fossil fuels, solar and wind in terms of cost and carbon dioxide emissions. Direct combustion and biogas power plants are described as well as the ability to upgrade biogas to high-quality for injection into the natural gas pipeline. Giant King Grass can be made into energy pellets and biocoal to be used as a low carbon fuel in existing coal power plants.
Giant King Grass when cut every 40 to 60 days is excellent animal feed with high protein content and palatability for cattle, dairy cows, sheep, goats, camels and other animals.
The extremely high yield of Giant King Grass makes it the lowest cost feedstock and therefore produces the lowest cost renewable base electricity, biofuels, biochemicals and animal feed.
