New Unscripted Show Offers Californians a Chance to Cast the Stars
Residents are encouraged to nominate someone who should have their own show
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Feb. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MysticArt Pictures is challenging TV viewers in Southern California to help them find the cast for Complex, a brand new unscripted show featuring a group of young professionals who will live at one of the hippest, new complexes in Los Angeles. Everyone seems to know someone who should be cast in their own real life drama and producers are offering $100 cash plus a MysticArt swag bag to the person who nominates someone who books a role.
"We're giving our viewers a mission," said Katy Wallin, MysticArt Pictures CEO and president. "This is a chance for everyone at home to nominate their most electrifying friends, lovers, neighbors and co-workers to star in this hip, new docu-series." MysticArt Pictures is the award-winning casting and production company behind the casting of hit shows such as ABC's Wipeout, FOX's Million Dollar Money Drop, Lifetime's Fairy Job Mother, and OWN's new series Kidnapped by the Kids.
Complex casting producers are hosting an open casting call for the show at MysticArt Pictures' studio in Burbank on Saturday, February 19th from noon to 2pm. We're inviting career-driven, dynamic and attractive men and women from the Southland who are in their late 20s to early 30s to join us and audition.
Complex will explore hook-ups, break-ups, blow-ups and celebrations. The new show will highlight people's professional lives while focusing on how they balance their personal dramas with their careers.
People interested in nominating someone they know—or if you'd like to apply yourself—please visit www.mysticartpictures.com and click on Now Casting to find the "COMPLEX" application online. If you have any questions you can email us at [email protected].
