The new center is equipped with the latest hardware, software and services to enable clients, business partners, and Independent Software Vendors to take advantage of advancements in cloud, analytics and mobile applications. According to IBM, with the new center in operation, customers will be able to leverage Linux and cloud computing solutions on the mainframe, as well as accelerate adoption of Linux on System z technologies in China. IBM also stated that according to IDC, the demand for Linux server is on the rise due to increasing demand from cloud infrastructure deployments, which is expected to grow further in the future. On May 29, 2014, Splunk Inc. (Splunk) announced its Q1 FY 2015 financial results (period ended April 30, 2014) with total revenues of $85.9 million, a 50.2% YoY increase. The Company registered a net loss of $50.8 million or $0.43 per share in Q1 FY 2015, compared with net loss of $16.1 million or $0.16 per share in Q1 FY 2014. Operating cash flow for the quarter was $18.9 million with free cash flow of $14.7 million.
